## Settings on a feed

| Setting | Effect | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Price multiplier | Selling price = feed price × multiplier | 1.00 |
| Compare-at multiplier | Compare-at price = feed price × multiplier | 1.00 |
| Taxable | Whether Shopify charges tax on the product | On |

## Worked examples

| Feed price | Price multiplier | Compare-at multiplier | Shopify price | Shopify compare-at |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 100.00 | 1.00 | 1.00 | 100.00 | none |
| 100.00 | 1.40 | 1.00 | 140.00 | none |
| 100.00 | 1.40 | 1.80 | 140.00 | 180.00 |
| 100.00 (sale 80.00) | 1.25 | 1.25 | 100.00 | 125.00 |

A compare-at price is written only when it is higher than the selling price; otherwise Shopify would show no discount or a negative one.

## Custom price policies

For rules the two multipliers cannot express, support configures a price policy on your feed profile:

- Psychological rounding (ending in .90 or .99).
- Fixed handling fee added after the multiplier.
- Different multipliers by price band or category.
- Cost per item written to Shopify for margin reporting.

Describe the rule with an example and it is applied on every run.

## FAQ

### Which prices does the multiplier apply to?

Every selling price read from the feed, on the first import and on every scheduled run. Compare-at prices use the compare-at multiplier.

### What if the feed already has a discount price?

When the feed has both a regular and a sale price, the sale price becomes the selling price and the regular price the compare-at price, each multiplied by its own multiplier.

### Can I round to .99?

Not from the settings screen. Rounding and other rules are set up by support as a price policy for your feed.
