Why scheduled sync matters
A supplier catalogue changes every day: prices move, sizes sell out, new articles arrive. A store that imported the feed once will oversell and underprice within a week. The scheduled sync re-reads the feed on your plan's cadence and pushes only what changed.
What a sync run does
- Fetches the feed and checks it against the previous successful run.
- Compares every variant by SKU.
- Sends changed prices in bulk with Shopify's variant bulk update and changed quantities with inventory set operations, staying within Shopify's rate limits.
- Creates products that are new in the feed.
- Sets variants that are no longer in the feed to zero stock.
Each run is logged with counts of parsed, updated and missing products and how long it took.
Fine control per feed

- Continue selling when out of stock and track quantity options passed through to Shopify.
- Draft mode for new products created by a sync.
- Multipliers for price and compare-at price applied on every run, so your margin survives a supplier price change.
Frequently asked questions
How often does the sync run?
Basic runs once a day, Professional three times, Enterprise and every multi-feed plan up to eight times a day per feed. Runs are spread evenly across the day.
Can I sync stock but not prices?
Yes. Price updates and stock updates are separate switches on every feed, so you can hold your own prices while stock follows the supplier.
What happens when the supplier feed is down?
The run is skipped and retried on the next slot. Your store keeps the last good data; nothing is zeroed because a feed failed to load.
Does the sync create new products?
Yes. Products that appear in the feed after the first import are added on the next scheduled run with the same rules.
